The MW-2800 is sealed in silicone rubber, making it suitable for rinsing and immersion in cleaning fluids. This allows healthcare providers and other users to wash the keyboard with hospital-grade disinfectants and commercial anti-bacterial wipes and to be rinsed off as needed to help prevent the spread of bacteria.
